Abstract
Working capital management involves defining the working capital policy and the implementation of those policies in their daily operations. Working capital policy refers to the basic policy company regarding the targeted amount for each category of current assets and how the current assets would be financed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of working capital on profitability in companies that go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange Case Study at PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, in this case using a variable inventory turnover and accounts receivable turnover. The first hypothesis testing results obtained 0.691 results concluded that the inventory turnover not significantly affect the Return on Assets (ROA). Results of testing the second hypothesis obtained results concluded 0.615 receivable turnover significantly affect the Return on Assets (ROA).
