Abstract

The study was aimed in determining the influence of urea amoniation in several rice straws varieties on dry matter (DM), organic matter (OM), crude protein (CP) and crude fiber (CF) rice straw amoniation. Random completed design was used applying (in this factorial experiment) 2 factor with 3 replications. The first factor rice straw varieties, comprised IR 64, Siam Jurut and Sisantik. The second factor urea level comprised 4% and 6%, with incubation period 7 days. Variable observed in this research were nutrients content (DM, OM, CP and CF of rice straw amoniation. The results showed that the increase of nutrients contens of rice straw amoniation both 4% and 6%. The usage 6% urea in Siam Jurut varietas produced the most CP content 11.17±0.06% Key words : Rice Straw varieties-Ammoniation-Content Nutrients.
