Abstract
The use of the Village Fund is one of the Government Policies that prioritizes to finance the development and community empowerment. The implementation is prioritized in self-management using local resources or raw materials and increasing the role of the Village. The increasing role of village in development contributes to the realization of community welfare. The method in this study used qualitative methods. The informant determination technique involved a purposive sampling. While the data collection used interviews, observation and documentation. The data Analysis was conducted by data reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. The validity test applied a triangulation technique. The results of the study showed that the use of the village fund is inseparable from the community involvement. The community can monitor the use of the budget starting from planning, implementation, and supervision to realize the welfare of the community in the village. The supporting factors were the togetherness, communication, participation and means of access to information. The inhibiting factor was the delayed of village fund implementation due to the size of the proposed program had bigger budget and the tight schedule of village activities.
