Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises in general are business entities formed based on Regional Regulations, whose management can also be adjusted to Village Regulations. This also applies to BUMDes Raharjo which was formed with the aim of helping the economic welfare of villages and communities through the utilization of village agricultural potential, namely strawberry plants which are developed into Strawberry Barn Tourism. This study aims to analyze the role of BUMDes Raharjo in the development of an agriculture-based tourism village in Pandanrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City, East Java. The research location was determined purposively, with a descriptive analysis method. The role of BUMDes Raharjo is very important in utilizing village potential, in the form of strawberry plants, increasing business and the community's economy, developing collaboration between villages and/or with third parties, as well as providing business opportunities and employment opportunities to local communities, community empowerment, marketing and selling of crops as well as the products of Medium, Small Micro Enterprises of the local community. In carrying out institutional programs, most do it through Strawberry Barn Tours. Thus BUMDes Raharjo has an important role in helping improve the welfare of the people of Pandanrejo Village.
