Abstract
ABSTRACT Gerbo Village, Purwodadi District, Pasuruan Regency is one of the villages dominated by rice farmers and makes the main job to support the daily lives of the people in it. The business activities of rice farmers in Gerbo Village are classified as high risk because they have several obstacles, including the presence of pests that damage rice plants, extreme weather, inadequate technology, and very difficult access to highways. The purpose of this research is to analyze rice farming and income risk management of rice farmers in Gerbo Village. The data analysis method in this study was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitative analysis was carried out through a descriptive approach. Quantitative data is data that can be expressed in the form of numbers, namely risk analysis consisting of income analysis and production risk analysis. The risk faced by farmers in rice farming is income risk. income risk obtained a coefficient of variation (KV) of 0.018 The coefficient of variation in production and income <0.5, which means that the risk of rice farming income is low where farmers will not experience losses Keywords: rice, risk, income
