Abstract
Private colleges claimed to be more professional and open in managing higher education institutions due to the demands and desires of the community to be more effective and efficient in organizing learning process. The purposes of this study are to describe, analyze, and interpret those aspects related to the pattern of management information systems in academic administrative services in Malang STIE Kucecwara, UMM, and STIKI Malang. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. The source of data obtained from informants and documents, using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results of this study indicate that there is an overwhelming desire of leaders to improve the quality of human resources from the lecturers, staffs, and among students, the best system and its implementation academic administration is STIKI Malang, the integration of monitoring and evaluation procedures carried temporarily especially before her-registration and graduation
